I graduated from Guy’s Hospital School of Physiotherapy and have over 40 years of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of NHS clinics and hospitals across London and the Midlands, treating a wide range of conditions with a practical, hands-on approach. I came to work at Ashbourne Physiotherapy Clinic in 2013, starting with just a Monday morning clinic once a week. Ten years later, I now work across both the Ashbourne and Hilton clinics four days a week.
Outside of work, I live in a small village in Derbyshire with my husband John and our two dogs. Between us, we have six grown-up children. My vegetable patch is my happy place, and I love growing fruit and vegetables—which, as a creative home cook, is perfect for preparing large family feasts and gatherings. As a retired runner (things got a bit too painful!), I’ve recently rediscovered Pilates and enjoy weekly weight training with my personal trainer. Staying strong and active is something I value deeply as I get older.
My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual—helping people feel better, move better, and live more confidently.

Special Interests
I’m passionate about delivering patient-centred care and take pride in using manual therapy techniques to support recovery and wellbeing. I’m also trained in acupuncture, which I often incorporate into treatment plans to help manage pain and enhance healing.
In recent years, I’ve expanded my practice into pelvic health. I began by focusing on women’s health, treating incontinence through pelvic floor strengthening, and have since branched into men’s pelvic health—supporting patients with erectile dysfunction and incontinence to improve their quality of life.
